I work for Moore Consulting Group, an integrated communications firm with a reputation for award-winning execution, as an account coordinator.
October 23, 2o11 I got married to the love of my life. My name is now Rebecca Mahony (previously Morse).
April 30, 2011, I graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University’s College of Communication and Information with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. I majored in public relations and minored in business.
I am proud to say that I also recently won a Golden Image Award from the Florida Public Relations Association for my work on RM New Media. My winning project comprises this website, blog, my personal brand and other branded collateral I created. Some elements of RM New Media originated from class projects, other elements were simply the next natural step in my professional development. I attended the 73rd annual FPRA conference August 7-10 to accept my award.
I want to explore PR techniques and learn best practices of the industry. I am interested in blogging about PR 2.0, Web 2.0, PR news and issues, social media and any related topics I find interesting. My goal is to use this blog as an opportunity to network and become involved in the blogosphere.
